At Nkonyeni College, we believe in nurturing well-rounded individuals by offering a diverse range of extra-curricular activities.
Our Extra-Curricular Activities programme provides students with ample opportunities to explore their interests and talents outside the classroom, whether that be on the soccer field, in the swimming pool or on the stage.
Our state-of-the-art facilities and experienced coaches ensure that students have the resources and guidance to excel in their chosen sports or cultural endeavours. For those with a strategic mindset, our Chess and Robotics clubs offer stimulating challenges and opportunities for innovation.
We aim to offer the more familiar programmes mentioned above, as well as our Model United Nations (MUN) and Best Diplomats programmes which provide distinctive opportunities for students to engage in global affairs and diplomacy. Through simulations of international debates and negotiations, students develop a deeper understanding of complex issues and enhance their communication and negotiation skills.

As part of Nkonyeni College’s diverse extracurricular offerings, we’re proud to introduce our Golf Academy. Our esteemed coaching team comprises a multiple award-winning PGA Professional, alongside other PGA Professionals with extensive coaching experience.
Situated within Nkonyeni Golf Estate, our academy benefits from access to some of the country’s premier golf courses and practice facilities. Designed by world-renowned golf course architects such as Phil Jacobs, Peter Matkovich, and Louis Oosthuizen – The Open Champion, SA Open, and Multiple DP Tour winner – our four different course combinations of 18 holes provide unparalleled training grounds for aspiring golfers.
